Mississippi Delta

The Mississippi Delta is a fertile alluvian plain that David L. Cohn, author of God Shakes Creation and Greenville native, devised a geo-cultural definition for the region. He wrote that “the Delta begins in the lobby of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis and ends on Catfish Row in Vicksburg.” from http://www.tamaletrail.com/map.shtml
